Furthermore, the different criteria according to the batch size and the production and delivery quantities considered optimal are also a factor to be considered in the execution of this phase.<\/p>\n<p>Series are differentiated according to the product sale on the market, considering each one with its own characteristics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Short series:<\/strong>\u00a0here,\u00a0<strong>investment<\/strong>\u00a0should be\u00a0<strong>minimal<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>production runs<\/strong>\u00a0must be as\u00a0<strong>agile<\/strong>\u00a0as possible. In addition, timing in the previous phases is key to make a product manufactured in this series profitable.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Large series:<\/strong>\u00a0the production cycle must be optimised as much as possible. For this purpose,\u00a0<strong>investment\u00a0\u00a0must be made both in manufacturing means and in staff time dedicated<\/strong>\u00a0to achieving maximum performance from all aspects involved in the production process.
